- The Challenge
Saints Peter & Paul Schools had three separate entities (elementary school, high school, and parish), each requiring a distinct online presence while maintaining a unified brand identity. The existing websites were outdated, difficult to navigate, and lacked the functionality needed for parents, students, and parishioners to easily access information.
Additionally, the schools sought to improve their visibility on search engines to attract more traffic and engage with the local community.
- Our Approach
Website Design & Development:
Each website was designed with a clean, modern look, optimized for both desktop and mobile devices. We focused on clear navigation to ensure that parents, students, and faculty could easily find important information, such as schedules, resources, and event details. Each site had a customized design to match the unique goals and audience of the respective school and parish.
- Elementary School: The design emphasized warmth and accessibility, using bright colors and engaging visuals to appeal to young students and their parents.
- High School: A more professional, sleek design was implemented to reflect the academic rigor and tradition of the high school while keeping it inviting for prospective students and their families.
- Parish: The parish website featured a calm, welcoming design that emphasized community and faith, with easy-to-access information on services, events, and resources for parishioners.
Style Guide / Design System:
To ensure consistency across the three websites, we developed a comprehensive style guide and design system. This included a color palette, typography, and other design elements that ensured a cohesive look and feel across all platforms while still allowing for customization for each specific website.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
We implemented best practices in SEO for all three websites to ensure that they would rank well on search engines and be easily found by the local community. This included:
- Keyword optimization for local search terms (e.g., “Easton MD Catholic Schools,” “Catholic High School Easton,” “Parish in Easton MD”).
Metadata optimization, including title tags and meta descriptions.
- Mobile optimization to improve user experience and SEO rankings.
- Regularly updated content that encouraged engagement and sharing.
Additionally, the schools sought to improve their visibility on search engines to attract more traffic and engage with the local community.
